Feel good being you
Bay Area and California Therapy for Asian Americans and Children of Immigrants
Hi, I’m Angela (she/her)!
I’m an Asian American licensed clinical psychologist based in the San Francisco Bay Area, working with clients across California. I specialize in helping Asian Americans and children of immigrants break free from patterns of perfectionism, people-pleasing, and self-doubt in order to lead more authentic and balanced lives.

Do you have a hard time quieting that self-critical voice?
Does it feel like no matter how much you achieve, it’s never enough?
Do you feel guilty taking time to rest or care for yourself?
I’ve been there—and I get it.
You’ve likely been told that facing these challenges on your own is a sign of strength, but you deserve support.
I’ll work with you to overcome the pressures of perfectionism, quiet the voice of self-doubt, express your needs and preferences, set healthy boundaries, and heal from intergenerational wounds. My approach is culturally sensitive and tailored to your unique experiences.
As a second-generation child of immigrants from Taiwan, I understand the challenges of navigating complex family dynamics, cultural expectations, and intergenerational trauma. I’m passionate about supporting the Asian American community and children of immigrants, drawing on both my personal journey and professional expertise to offer empathy and cultural awareness as we work together.
Together, we’ll reconnect with your authentic self and create a life that aligns with your values—so you can move from merely surviving to truly thriving.
